It was the bands first album of New studio material in a decade, since 1997’sRestless Heart, not including the four New tracks recorded for the 2006 live albumLive In the Shadow of the Blues.The album charted at number 62 on theBillboard200chart,number 8 on the Top Independent albums chart, number 23 on theCanadian Albums Chartand number 7 on theUK Albums Chart.ForGood To Be Badthe band consisted of the mainstays, guitarists Doug Aldrich and Reb Beach plus keyboard player Timothy Drury remain the same, but rhythm section changed, with theadditionsof Newcomers Uriah Duffy on bass and Chris Frazier on drums.
